Role: Acquisitions, Capital Markets
Daniel Weaver leads the acquisitions team for the Eastern half of the United States and has primary sourcing responsibility for the Midwest and Texas. He also focuses on the firm’s capital markets transactions. Mr. Weaver has 28 years of experience in commercial real estate investments and capital markets. Prior to joining Stockbridge, he was a Partner with RREEF, where he led retail property acquisitions and served on the firm’s North American Investment Committee and the Strategic Investment Committee for the firm’s public REIT investment division. Mr. Weaver joined RREEF in 1996 to start its Capital Markets Group, with responsibility for leading the firm’s financing activities. In 1999, he moved to Rodamco North America, N.V., after Rodamco’s acquisition of RREEF, where he was named Chief Financial Officer. He rejoined RREEF after the sale of the businesses in 2002. Mr. Weaver’s other relevant business experience includes Vice President of Capital Markets with Homart Development Co.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Weaver graduated from Miami University with a B.E.D. in Architecture and an M.B.A. in Finance.
