Bay Meadows is a mixed-use property in San Mateo, California and has been actively contributing to the biodiversity in the area through their participation in Alveole’s bee keeping program. Since the partnership began in 2019, the property’s hive has been home to 3.5 million bees who have produced nearly 300 pounds of honey and pollinated an estimated 200 million flowers every day. The property couldn’t bee happier with the tenant response to the program, with nearly 200 participants having engaged in bee workshops and even more enjoying the honey harvest free of charge.
