Waterfront Phase II

Waterfront Phase II is part of a life science campus that has embarked on various energy efficiency and independence projects in Alameda, California. Waterfront Phase II is equipped with LED lights, occupancy and daylight sensors as well as water saving measures including drought-tolerant landscaping and water-smart irrigation. The property runs on 100% clean energy sourced from Alameda Municipal Power’s hydroelectric plant as well as rooftop solar panels. Commuters can charge their electric vehicles at one of the building’s 50+ EV charging stations. These property features have led to a LEED BD+C Gold certification alongside numerous intangible benefits to the local community.
