Darik Afshani joined Stockbridge in 2017 and serves as Managing Director for Core and Value Advisors’ (“CVA”) commercial asset management team. Darik is responsible for assets across the Southeastern United States. He also assists with the firm’s ongoing sustainability objectives.

Prior to joining Stockbridge, Darik served as Vice President of Asset Management for Columbia Property Trust, where he was responsible for directing the financial performance for a $1 billion portfolio of primarily office assets exceeding five million square feet.

Darik has also served as a Deal Manager with Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for underwriting and structuring loans across property types for the Southeast Region. He began his real estate career as an Underwriter with JPMorgan, where he helped to grow their commercial mortgage-backed securities platform.

Darik received a B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University and M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University.
