David Nix joined Stockbridge in 2011 and serves as Head of Acquisitions and Chair of the Investment Committee for Core and Value Advisors (“CVA”). He leads CVA’s national acquisitions platform, overseeing all aspects of the investment process – from sourcing and underwriting to structuring and execution – across a diverse range of property types. David also works with clients to develop and implement tailored investment strategies.
Over the course of his career, David has acquired a significant portfolio of real estate assets nationwide for several investment firms. He is known for his strategic approach, deep market knowledge, and ability to structure and execute complex transactions, including joint ventures, value-add investments, and ground-up developments.
Prior to his role leading the Acquisitions team, David oversaw the firm’s investment deployment in the Southeastern U.S. Prior to joining Stockbridge, he was Head of the North America Real Estate Group at Mercer Investment Consulting, where he directed the evaluation of private equity real estate funds. Earlier in his career, he held acquisitions roles with leading real estate firms, sourcing and closing transactions across the Southeast.
David received a B.B.A. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.
