Jim Ratner joined Stockbridge in 2007 and focuses on acquisitions and portfolio management.
Previously, from 2003 through 2005, Mr. Ratner held several roles at American Financial Realty Trust, where he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Finance.
From 1991 through 2003, Mr. Ratner served in various positions at PaineWebber and its predecessor, including as a Managing Director in PaineWebber’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group. In this role, Mr. Ratner was instrumental in the formation of Stockbridge’s first commingled opportunity fund.
Mr. Ratner received a B.A. and a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences and Wharton School, respectively, and a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
