Mac Johnson joined Stockbridge in 2014 and serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Core and Value Advisors’ (“CVA”) open-end, core fund. Mac is responsible for developing portfolio strategy, conducting market research and providing client service. He also works with CVA’s capital markets team to monitor debt markets and execute the Fund’s financing strategy, development of new joint venture opportunities and oversight of the Fund’s valuation process.

Prior to joining Stockbridge, Mac served as an analyst for Black Creek Group, where he held portfolio management responsibilities for a $3 billion industrial fund, as well as a $500 million joint venture portfolio. Mac started his real estate career as a Senior Financial Analyst for CoreSite Realty Corp, where he held asset management responsibilities for the firm’s west coast portfolio of data center investments.

Mac received a B.B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
