Sol Raso joined Stockbridge in 2007 and currently serves as Executive Managing Director, guiding firm-wide growth initiatives and capital formation leadership.
Before his current role, Sol was the Head of Stockbridge Core and Value Advisors (“CVA”) from 2016 through 2024, during which time CVA’s assets under management grew from $5.6 billion to $14.5 billion. He was also a Founding Partner of CVA and was instrumental in merging the business line into Stockbridge Capital Group in 2023.
Prior to joining Stockbridge, Sol was a Partner at RREEF and Managing Director with Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for leading a global fundraising and client service team as well as maintaining key relationships with the firm’s institutional investors. He was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee beginning in 2000 and a member of the North America Policy Committee from 2003 to 2007. Earlier in his career, Sol was an Investment Officer and Director of Real Estate for the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association (Colorado PERA) and began his career as an investment sales specialist at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.
Sol received a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver. He is a past Chairman of the Pension Real Estate Association and University of Colorado Real Estate Council.
