Sol Raso joined Stockbridge in 2007 and serves as Executive Managing Director and Head of Core and Value Advisors (“CVA”). Sol was responsible for forming the firm’s core and value-add business line, leading client service and new business development.

Sol was a Partner at RREEF, where he was responsible for managing a large team of fundraising professionals as well as being directly involved with existing and prospective investors. During his tenure at RREEF, Sol was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and a member of the North America Policy Committee from 2003 to 2007.

Prior to RREEF, Sol served as an Investment Officer and Director of Real Estate for the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association (Colorado PERA). During his 10-year tenure, he oversaw investments of over $2 billion in real estate on behalf of the multi-billion-dollar public pension fund. Prior to joining Colorado PERA, Raso was an investment sales specialist for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.

Sol received a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Colorado and an M.BA. from the University of Denver. He is a past Chairman of the University of Colorado Real Estate Council.
